Paolo Bonifati

Paolo Bonifati was born in Castrovillari, Italy in 1996. He is a PhD Student in Information Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) of the University of Pisa and at the Research Center “E. Piaggio”. He received the Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering in 2018 and the Master Degree in Robotics and Automation Engineering in 2021 with a thesis work on simultaneous perception and manipulation of unknown objects with generic robotic hands. He continues his research activity on advanced interaction control and shared autonomy framework in human-robot collaborative tasks, focusing on the problem of grasping and manipulation with optimal estimation of rigid body properties.
