2. Required reminders of linear systems theory

3. Extended observer for offset-free tracking

 

July: Monday 16, 10:30-12:30

1. Steady-state optimization module

2. Dynamic optimization module

3. Closed-loop implementation of the three modules (receding horizon principle)

4. Quick overview of numerical optimization problems
 

September: Monday 17 10:30-12:30

1. Asymptotic (exponential) stability analysis

2. Offset-free tracking in the presence of plant/model mismatch and/or permanent disturbances

3. Nominal robustness and robust MPC design

 

September: Monday 24 10:30-12:30

1. Nonlinear MPC 2. Moving horizon estimators

1. Research topic 1: MPC performance monitoring and diagnosis
